Prunes and Potatoes

What kid doesn't love prunes? And sweet potatoes. We have yet to find anything that Owen doesn't like to eat. Made a bit of a mess though.

Hard to believe

We can't believe it's been 6 months already since this guy became a part of our lives. He is so special, so amazing, and just a lot of fun. He is a pretty happy baby, so getting him to smile for his 6 month pic wasn't too tough.

Looking like a miniature 50s high-school kid, Owen is sporting some pretty sweet Chuck Taylors.

Sitting up

Owen is practicing sitting up a lot these days. He can do it while propping himself up with his hands, but if he doesn't prop himself up, he'll topple over. :-)

Starting to, uh, read

Owen is starting to at least enjoy the texture and, apparently, the taste of some books. Here are a couple pics of his mommy reading to him and of him enjoying one of his tactile books.
Then he tries to eat it.

He is doing great, is super active and playful, and getting pretty talkative. It is so much fun!
