Another great visit from Mimi & Popop

Suzanne and Duffy, Owen's Mimi and Popop, came for another visit last week. Owen had a GREAT time with them and they loved getting to spend some time with him. Here are a few pics from the week:

On the move

We've been slackers lately with the blog. Will try to make up for it this weekend with some good pics from Duffy & Suzanne (Mimi and Popop) visit this past week.
Owen is mostly on the move these days. He doesn't spend a lot of time sitting still. Here's a good video of him crawling down the hall.

Fun week, good weather

We did not have the best spring in Portland this year, but it has finally gotten and stayed nice. This weekend, Owen got to spend a lot of time outside. We setup his kiddie pool, took him for a hike in Forest Park, and played a bunch in the yard.
Here are a few pics from the last week.

Crawl and stand

In the last month, Owen has gone from the army-crawl he was doing to hands & knees crawling. So, he really gets around now and often does so with some speed. And he of course loves to pull up to stand at things.
He is pretty daring, too...while standing at things, he's been letting go with one hand to try and grab something else. And he'll let go with both hands if one of us puts a hand out to him.
In this video, you can see how excited he is by being able to stand on his own.

Some recent pics

We've been a little light on posts recently, but April was a good month. Here are some random pics from the month.

Now I'm Really Moving

Well, we weren't sure if he would ever bother crawling on all 4, since he could get where he wanted to go doing the army crawl. But, this past week, Owen figured out that he could carry things in his mouth and crawl on all 4, and that he could just go faster.
So now when we set him down, he pretty much takes off.
